John 17:3 isn't saying the Father is the only one who is the only true God. Jesus is also God (see John 1:1 and John 20:28 for starters). For Jesus to be God and NOT be the only true God would make Jesus a false god, one of those the apostle Paul says are not God by nature.

It is written that one must have no other gods before Jehovah. Jesus quoted from Deut. about that to Satan. At Matt 4:10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah* your God you must worship,+ and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”+ So if Jesus is telling Satan, who is the god of this world, that he must worship Jehovah it means that there are other gods. The judges of Israel were called gods. There are other gods, very real gods. But none of them were to be worshipped or put in place of Jehovah. Not all the gods would be false gods either. The demons are trying to get people to worship them. They are the unholy spirits and false to truth. All of the holy angels are holy spirits and true to truth. All of the gods were to worship only Jehovah. Even Jesus worshipped Jehovah. He wasn't worshipping himself.

Jehovah also made MOSES God. (Ex 7:1) So were Jesus and Moses "FALSE GODS"? Of COURSE not- they REPRESENTED Him- what they spoke was from God Himself. "Believe in God, believe ALSO in ME!" Jesus said. (John 14:1)

And, after reading Jesus' words, she flees. Sad.
